Cristian Pocol is a well-known entrepreneur in the Romanian waste management market. With an academic background in mechanical engineering and an extensive experience in an R&D bearing center in Western Europe, he decided in 2003 to come back to Romania, where he developed the waste management sector.

Some of his flagship projects include: the first medical waste treatment plant in Romania, the first industrial hazardous waste collection company, and the collection and treatment of waste of electric and electronic equipment (WEEE). The first was implemented as Technical Manager for a company, while the rest were completed by his own company, after 2006, when he decided to become an entrepreneur.

In 2007, the main part of his company was bought by a multinational firm, and he was appointed Managing Director for Romania. In 2010, the rest of shares were bought by the same company. Since 2013, him and his company are registered in the UK Waste Carrier, Broker & Dealer.
