Dragos C.-L. PREDA is a political scientist and futurist by training. An experienced senior professional of the Romanian public administration, he has led or contributed to five national strategies, including the National Strategy for Civil Capabilities to the National Strategy for Sports. He has also initiated numerous legislative papers and has supported the signing of investments of over 100 mil EUR.
His insights also cover the French local administration, as well as the EU-level administration in Brussels. He is a well-known social entrepreneur and manager, with dozens of civic and social projects in the fields of education, culture, youth engagement, sports and public administration reform.
Furthermore, he has a dynamic private activity. This includes, among others, serving as the co-founder and vice-president of the Romanian-Cuban Bilateral Chamber of Commerce and actively contributing to the Romanian section of the Havana International Fair (FIHAV).
He is an alumnus of Ecole Nationale d’Administration (ENA), as well as of Paris 1 Pantheon – Sorbonne, and was listed by Forbes Magazine in the first national “30 under 30” Romanian edition.
