Dragoș Roibu is an entrepreneur by choice and an electrical engineer by training. In 2011, he started his first company in the distribution business, focusing on electrical components and lighting equipment. One year later, he founded a renewable energy construction group that designed and built more than 10 key projects across Romania. He has worked extensively with foreign investors from Western Europe and the Middle East. Before his entrepreneurial ventures, Dragoș worked as an electrical engineer and project manager for the biggest public lighting company in Eastern Europe. He is also a founding member of the CAESAR Foundation, a global research, educational, and civic action think tank. He holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and a double master’s in electrical engineering and economics.
