Raul Patrascu is an accomplished expert in the healthcare sector, with experience across the public and private spheres. Throughout his career, he has garnished expertise in the health sector by working alongside top specialists in the field, including professionals from the Johns Hopkins Hospital, the Yale-New Haven Hospital, financiers and consultants at some of the world’s largest banks and asset managers, and high-level public officials of the Romanian Government. He has worked for the $6 billion investment fund of McKinsey&Co. and his activity contributed to the consolidation of the risk rating system of over 10,000 financial institutions worldwide, as recognized by the Moody’s rating agency. He has also consulted for both NGOs and corporate entities worldwide such as The Journal of Young Investigators, Laboratorium, and the Save the Children Fund. More recently, during 2016, he served as State Advisor for health policies to the Prime-minister of Romania, working alongside him and the Minister of Health to reform the Romanian healthcare system. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Yale University and an MSc in Medical Physics from the West University of Timisoara.
