Sebastian C. Salaru is an economist with notable experience in the ex-Soviet economic space, as well as the Eastern and South-Eastern Asian space. In addition, he has a significant understanding of the private and governmental sectors, both in Romania, as well as in the regions mentioned above. His areas of focus include: international business, strategic management, and business development.
He has a diverse experience: from working for the Romanian Government, assisting the Economic Bureau of the Romanian Embassy to the Russian Federation, to working with multinational companies such as Microsoft, Pactera, or CSOFT Intl. and with Romanian companies such as Antibiotice S.A., Murfatlar, Topoloveni, BioRomania, etc.
He holds an MBA from the University of Science and Technology Beijing and a Bachelor’s degree in International Economic Relations from the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO).
